About the Presentation and Presenter
As parents, we want our children to be prepared to engage with the world around them. One step in that preparation is kindergarten. Parents can take several necessary steps to support their children in their kindergarten readiness skills and the transition to kindergarten. Ms. Craig will explore the supports to help children transition to kindergarten.
Ms. Craig, Director at the Moody School locations on Margin and Main streets in Haverhill, has spent more than 15 years working in special education settings. She views her primary role as advocating for student success, family engagement, and teacher support. Ms. Craig's experience includes teaching in a full-inclusion setting for second and third graders, teaching in a kindergarten to third grade substantially separate classroom, and working as a special education administrator.
