About the event

Join us for a virtual meeting where Maria Selvitelli, Northeast Family Leadership Series SEPAC Outreach Coordinator, will present information about the Family Leadership Program and its training programs.

These programs empower adult family members and caregivers of people with disabilities in areas such as leadership and systems change.  You’ll gain information about opportunities to connect with people,  assist in creating a vision for your loved one that will guide your advocacy and leadership, learn about current issues in the disability field, and familiarize yourself with policymaking and the legislative process in Massachusetts.

Families who advocate for themselves and their loved ones, support each other, collaborate with organizations and service providers, and influence policy and system changes significantly improve the daily lives of persons with disabilities. While making a difference may sometimes feel overwhelming, the Family Leadership Program and its extensive community offer valuable connections, mentorship, and empowerment support.
